GCSE Statistics complements GCSE Maths by developing confidence in interpreting data, analysing information and applying statistical techniques. Taking on statistics strengthens their understanding in GCSE Maths.
The course develops logical thinking as well as interpretation of graph and data analysis skills.
Stats provides an excellent foundation for STEM-related courses and even A Levels in Geography, Business and Psychology (which we also cover – see A Level pages for more information).

Not all schools offer GCSE Statistics. Some teach it as an additional GCSE option through enrichment programmes or after-school sessions. Here at mastrellimaths, we can support students who are studying statistics independently or through their home education timetables.
